Summary

Xentity has the opportunity to act as the data technology integration service partner. In doing so, they provide services to a private client’s 3 major tasks. This includes Enterprise Operations Support, Relaunching the DME, and creating a new DME (Roadmap).

Problem and Solution

Data tech services will always be needed for tech-based operations. Applications have versions, after all. That alone is reason enough for activities and tasks such as these to exist. With that in mind, Xentity provided the three aforementioned tasks while acting as a data technology integration service partner.

First, ongoing necessary support to ensure minimal disruption for ongoing Enterprise Operations. The team provided ongoing support to mature the web and mobile applications to improve security, bugs, and infrastructure. This included Enterprise Infrastructure Deployment & Documentation, Triage and Support, and Enterprise Quality Assurance Support. Next, we performed CIO-Approved Monthly Minor Development, Modernization, and Enhancement Sprints for transferred technology and data assets.

Finally, Xentity collected roadmap epics input during work in 2022 and reviewed recently in 2024 with the client’s leadership at a high level. The goal was to support transcribers in new features in NLP/AI areas to advance the NLP to the next level to increase vocabulary, improve data quality and model tuning, and harden the solution to make this a world-class unique solution. This also included a Digital Runbook of Generative AI and LLM features to provide more control over the transformation of transcriptions to formatted notes. This can enable improved use of NLP/AI for the transcribers AND the collection of vocabulary can open new channels as a core data set for additional purposes for re-use as a product.

Outcome and Benefits

Though the task itself is less focused on tangible benefits and more on improvements to existing services, we find this work has just as much value as our other projects. At Xentity, we greatly value efficiency. Through our efforts, web and mobile applications from this client will run more efficiently with improved security and infrastructure and fewer bugs. In today’s tech and data-driven world, that is extremely important. Furthermore, our efforts in building roadmap epics can help to collect data for additional purposes for re-use as a product, as mentioned above. It may not sound glamorous, but it is still important.

• A complete deployment to AWS Cloud environment for Development, Staging, Production
• Redevelopment of Data & DB Schema Setup
• Relaunching several features of the application, including the mobile application itself.
• Provided Optimization enhancements.
